A true team builder, he co-founded the Veling Group in 2002, and successfully led Veling into various unchartered territories. This included aircraft leasing, arranging JOLCO’s, and Sale and Leasebacks on its first A380 – in essence he was the engine that powered the Company. He brings his wealth of experience to Kayan which he intends to nurture along with his capable team. Uday is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and has an honorary doctorate from the University of Bolton for his contributions to philanthropy and aviation.
Anuj is an inventive dealmaker who understands the subtleties of aviation finance. His career has taken him to Jet Airways, Emirates, Deutsche Bank and the leasing company, Veling. At Veling he structured and closed the company’s first four A380 transactions within just 12 months. In a wide-ranging career, Anuj has financed over 100 aircraft deals and developed productive relationships with the world’s airlines, lessors, arrangers and financial institutions.
Nagarajan is an adept financier and financial controller with wide experience in fundraising, investment structuring, tax planning, large-scale divestments, company restructuring and treasury functions. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Before he joined Kayan, Nagarajan was Executive Director – Banking & Treasury for the ETA Group.
Mohammed has had over 20 years’ experience in principal investing and investment banking. Having joined Berenson & Company in 1997, Mohammed leads their principal investing business where he has completed over 100 investments and transactions. Mohammed holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Economics from Cambridge University and a B.S. in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University
